Scott is currently working at eNews Channel Africa (eNCA) in Johannesburg, South Africa. He creates, produces, shoots, writes, and manages content mainly for their digital platform, eNCA.com.

He is also working on two journalism projects in the inner city of Johannesburg, exploring the stories of the myriad of people in this kaleidoscope of a city.

Previous to eNCA, Scott headed up the digital offerings at The New Age, a South African national newspaper, until July 2012. In this position he headed up all operations of digital, including editorial direction and strategy to build an effective online content offering that is fresh, relevant, engaging and profitable.

Before that, while living in Cape Town, Scott worked as a writer and editor and headed up the online offerings of a geo-political analysis company for over five years.

Scott has worked as a full time writer and photojournalist during which time he spent six months in the West Bank and then some contract work in Europe.

Scott holds a BA with three majors and a post-graduate degree in Journalism from Rhodes University, Grahamstown.

He has a book in him, or two.
